Herbs & Cycles: An Integrative Gathering

Join me along with herbalist Rebecca Minifie for a full-day integrative exploration of our cyclical bodies and the plant medicines that can support us, as we weave together the fractured strands of information we’ve received throughout our lives into a cohesive and empowering body literacy.

Together, we will:

☽ explore different life phases and events—menarche, fertility, contraception, bringing on menstruation, and moving toward menopause…

☽ dive into the complex and fascinating physiology of menstrual/ovulation cycles, with information—and also with play…

☽ get to know some of the herbs we can work with to support our hormonal pathways, and our reproductive/sexual and overall health…

This comprehensive workshop is for people with ovaries, those who experience menstrual cycles, have the capacity to cycle, or have had the capacity to cycle, inclusive of all gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, and family structures. Content is intended for adults; however, an older teen may participate with a parent.

We will be gathering at the Center for Rural Livelihoods, nestled in the woods outside of Cottage Grove, about half an hour SW of Eugene. Indoor space is airy and well-ventilated, and some activities will occur outside. Masks are optional, and if you wear a mask you will be supported in that choice. A delicious local farm-to-fork lunch (accommodating a variety of dietary needs) is included!

Early-bird pricing is $95 until May 1st; $105 thereafter. This includes a hearty lunch, nourishing herbal teas, and healthy snacks. Reparations-based discounts and sliding scale are available.

Herbs & Cycles: The Early Years

Herbs & Cycles is back, with an introduction to womb & menstrual health for parents & youth!

Join herbalist Rebecca Minifie and sexual/reproductive health educator Rosemary Roberts for an afternoon of adventuring into menstrual cycles, endocrine health, period management, and getting to know the herbs that can help us the most along this journey!

This class is geared at youth who have recently begun menstruating OR anticipate beginning to menstruate in the next year or two, along with a supportive parent. We work to cultivate an affirming environment where all gender identities and expressions are welcome.

The cost of this class is $30 for a parent/child pair, and $5 for an additional child in the same family.

We will be in a well-ventilated indoor space, with air filters and windows open if the weather allows. Masks are optional, and if you prefer to wear a mask you will be completely supported in that choice.

Exact location will be provided after registration.
